If Anyone Would Follow Me
Five hundred years ago, a group of seekers determined to follow the call of Christ in the Scriptures without regard to the cost. As they followed the New Testament pattern of repentance, baptism, and surrender to the Spirit, a believersā church was born. In the years that followed, the commitment to follow Christ supremely was tested by pressures both within the church and from without.
In 13 lessons, this study guide traces the story of Anabaptism, from its beginnings to the major developments of the 20th century. These lessons and the accompanying discussion questions provide an opportunity for Anabaptist churches today to reflect on the stories and commitments of their history and to be encouraged, challenged, and instructed as they consider the direction for their future.
