Based on the book Charting a Course in Your Youth, this half-credit elective helps students think seriously about finances and life, challenging them to channel their time, talents, and resources into God’s kingdom.
The course offers down-to-earth, practical guidance on saving, giving, budgeting, spending, and borrowing, illustrated by stories of real people. It explains how financial needs change throughout life and gives ideas for avoiding harmful effects of advertising, peer pressure, easy credit, and materialism.
Five LightUnits provide exercises for and direct the student through the textbook. The Answer Key includes information for the course and answers for exercises, self checks, and tests.
