Midnight Mouse
“Dad can tell you a story about me and a mouse,” Mom told Randy. This sounded interesting!
“A mouse story?” Dad wiped his hands on a shop rag. “Oh, that!”
Randy laughed when Dad told him the story, but Dad guessed correctly that Mom had a reason for wanting Randy to hear it. Randy needed to learn kindness and respect for his little sister and others who had a horror of mice.
Midnight Mouse is a collection of twenty stories about eight-year-old Randy. What happens when Randy ignores Dad’s whistle? How did Randy become a brave David when Dad had an accident? How can he possibly be nice to his cousins when they make fun of his lame puppy and his baby brother Chad?
