Ionica
Six-year-old Ionica gazed tearfully at the same old view from the fifth floor apartment where he lived with his grandmother. In front of him were the gloomy buildings of Bucharest, the largest city in Romania. Behind him was the dingy apartment. He did not turn to look at it. He knew what was there–and what was not there. No father. No mother. No money. No food. While Ionica knew these painful facts, what he didn't yet know was that there was a God who loved and cared for him. Separated from his siblings and taken to live with his Uncle Nicu's family, Ionica learns about the God who hears and answers even a young boy's prayer.
