Gospel of John - Study Guide

Edwin Eby

Gain a deeper understanding of Jesus and strengthen your commitment to Him as you read the Gospel of John and study the questions in this ten-lesson study guide.

John's gospel differs dramatically from the other gospels. It was written around A.D. 90, much later than the others. John did not set out to recount the story of Jesus' life, but rather to disprove and rebuke errors plaguing the New Testament church. He wrote an apologetic gospel "story" using seven distinct events as signs proving that Jesus was God in flesh. The false teaching that Jesus was not God was already prominent. He effectively discredits, rebukes, and disarms that error.
