Is your four- or five-year-old ready for more formal schooling? Give your child a great start with Christian Light Kindergarten to prepare them for first-grade academics.
My daughter finished K2 today. Just a little encouragement if you are considering using this curriculum . . . do it. I wish I would have known about this five kids ago. –Illinois
Introduction
TO KINDERGARTEN
Christian Light Kindergarten is designed to prepare students for a seamless transition into Christian Light’s first grade phonics program, Learning to Read.
There are two short courses: Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2.
Even though kindergarten-age students are eager to learn, that doesn’t mean they should be saddled with a heavy academic workload. Christian Light Kindergarten courses help you ease your child into formal learning so they are prepared for first-grade academics.
Kindergarten 1 gives your four- to five-year-old short periods of pre-reading activities a few days a week. The course is divided into thirty lessons with approximately five pages per lesson.
The course contains five workbooks and an optional teacher’s guide. The teacher’s guide includes answers, more detailed instructions, and extra activities.
Kindergarten 2 introduces sounds and numbers. The course is divided into thirty lessons with approximately fourteen pages per lesson.
The course contains five workbooks, five corresponding activity books, and an optional teacher’s guide that includes answers, more detailed instructions, and extra activities.
